Paul Heyman opens up on managing Jade Cargill in WWE
WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman boasts one of the most successful client lists in the history of the business, although he has yet to manage a female wrestler in WWE.
Recently, during an appearance on The Stephen A. Smith Show, Heyman was asked about the prospect of managing Cargill. Previously, Cargill had also expressed her interest in getting managed by Heyman.
Open to managing Cargill, Heyman also mentioned that he wants Cargill to succeed in her own way before partnering up.
“I’m going to continue to let her ride the momentum by herself as a Women’s Champion for all of humanity to be proud of.
Let her get that solidified into the history books so that when Jade Cargill unites with Paul Heyman, you are seeing two superpowers of the universe come together instead of Paul Heyman endorsing a talent that at this time is not accepted by the public, though she should be, as a guaranteed first ballot Hall of Famer,” Heyman said.
“Oh, it’s not willing to, it’s that I want her to have that on her own. I never want it to be that, ‘And then Paul Heyman stepped in, and that’s when Jade Cargill really became a star,‘” Heyman answered when asked about that specific requirement.
Cargill is scheduled to face Rhea Ripley at WWE WrestleMania 42 with her Women’s Championship on the line.
