Paul Heyman returning on tonight’s episode of Raw
A familiar face will be returning to WWE television tonight.
WWE announced on Monday afternoon that Paul Heyman would be appearing on Raw tonight. The return comes the day before the WWE 2K17 video game, featuring Brock Lesnar on the cover, is set to be released.
The article that accompanied WWE’s announcement teased that Heyman could possibly reveal Lesnar’s next move or his next opponent on tonight’s show. It noted that there has been speculation on social media regarding when Lesnar would return.
Dave Meltzer reported last week that Goldberg, who has been heavily featured in WWE 2K17 advertising as a featured playable character, was all but confirmed to be Lesnar’s next opponent at November’s Survivor Series pay-per-view.
Goldberg appeared on SportsCenter with Jonathan Coachman last week and said that if he returned Lesnar would likely be his opponent, but insisted that he hasn’t talked to Vince McMahon since leaving WWE in 2004 and didn’t know if he would return.
