Penta reveals element of AAA past he wants WWE to bring back

Penta WWE RAW

WWE star Penta recently revealed that he wants the company to bring back the six-sided ring for AAA events. Penta has wrestled quite a few times in a hexagon-shaped ring, having performed in TNA as well as AAA in his earlier career.

The Intercontinental Champion Penta will find out who his opponent will be for SummerSlam next week, as a gauntlet match will be held on WWE RAW this Monday.

Penta on the Six Sided Ring in AAA

Speaking to Battle on Battleground, Penta revealed that he actually prefers wrestling in a six-sided ring compared to a four-sided ring:

“[I prefer wrestling in a] Six-sided ring, definitely” adding that he would like to see WWE bring back the concept for AAA Lucha Libre events. “Why not? Why not now? In this time, WWE can do everything. It would be very special, right? Penta is ready for everything, no matter if the ring is six, eight, ten, no matter what. Penta is ready.

Several wrestlers in the past have said the exact opposite. Austin Aries was one of the former TNA names who was very against the idea of bringing back the 6 sides when he was still with the company after the shift to four, saying that the canvas was far harder to have to bump on.
