Penta announcement, three title matches part of next week’s AAA on Fox lineup
An announcement by Penta is set for next week’s AAA on Fox in Latin America.
During Saturday’s premiere episode, Penta was interviewed and revealed he would be making an announcement next week. The WWE Raw star was originally set to make his in-ring AAA return last month teaming with his brother Rey Fenix, a first under the WWE umbrella. However, he had to pull out due to a shoulder injury. Despite this, he made an impact in the main event of Guerra de Titanes by helping his brother and Rey Mysterio defeat Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano.
Three title matches will also take place on next week’s show. It was announced that Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. will defend the Latin American title, Laredo Kid will defend the Cruiserweight title, and Psycho Clown & Pagano will defend the Tag Team titles.
Wagner was surprised on Saturday’s live show when Santos Escobar made his presence felt, returning to WWE after a six-month absence. Initially shaking Wagner’s hand, Escobar quickly turned on the Latin American Champion and laid him out, making it clear he wanted a future title match.
