Police conclude investigation into Hulk Hogan’s death
The Clearwater Police Department has completed its investigation into the death of Hulk Hogan.
Hogan passed away at the age of 71 on July 24, 2025. At the time of his death, he had been diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia and had begun chemotherapy. He had also recently undergone a heart valve procedure and neck fusion surgery. The official cause of his death is listed as an acute myocardial infarction, commonly known as a heart attack.
On Friday, the Clearwater Police Department released a 72-page report on Hogan’s death, officially classifying it as an “attended natural death” and confirming that there was no evidence of foul play.
A segment of their findings reads:
“Following an exhaustive review of the statements, medical records, surveillance footage from within the residence, and a visual inspection of Mr. Bollea’s body, there has been no evidence to indicate the death of Terry Bollea was anything other than natural. Through the course of the investigation, there has been no evidence to indicate any criminal wrongdoing related to his death. This case will be closed, and will be considered solved, non-criminal.“
