Raw star changes brands on WWE SmackDown

Sami Zayn is on SmackDown.
Solo Sikoa and the MFTs opened Friday’s show, with Sikoa boasting about how they stomped out Zayn on Raw this past Monday. He issued a challenge for anyone in the back to come out and confront them. Zayn arrived and actually thanked Sikoa for what he did, admitting that he was so consumed with thinking about going after the World title he didn’t think about anything else. But now he’s liberated, as he revealed he was the newest member of the SmackDown roster and is now going to take the United States title away from Sikoa.
The champion responded by going after Zayn, at first getting a 3-on-1 beatdown advantage. But then Jimmy Uso came out, followed by Jacob Fatu. Nick Aldis came out and set up a six-man tag team match for later tonight.
Sikoa successfully retained the United States title at SummerSlam thanks to interference from the MFTs despite the match being held inside a steel cage. After the match, Fatu gained a measure of revenge by taking out JC Mateo and Tonga Loa with a moonsault off the cage.
