Reigns return, Rousey open challenge set for next week’s WWE SmackDown

A Roman Reigns appearance, Ronda Rousey defending the Women’s title, and a pair of tag matches have been announced for next week’s WWE SmackDown. 

Reigns will return to the show next week ahead of his Undisputed WWE Universal title defense against Logan Paul at Crown Jewel on November 5. 

Ronda Rousey has issued an open challenge for her SmackDown Women’s Championship on next week’s episode. Rousey defeated Liv Morgan to win the title at Extreme Rules on October 8. 

In tag team action, Sami Zayn and Solo Sikoa of The Bloodline will face Ridge Holland and Butch of the Brawling Brutes next week. The Bloodline delivered a storyline injury to Holland and Butch’s partner Sheamus on this week’s episode. 

Also announced, Hit Row’s Top Dolla and Ashante Adonis will team with a mystery partner against Legado Del Fantasma’s Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, and Cruz Del Toro in a trios bout. 

Next week’s SmackDown will air on FS1 due to Fox’s coverage of the MLB playoffs.

  • Sami Zayn & Solo Sikoa vs. Ridge Holland & Butch
  • Hit Row (Top Dolla & Ashante Adonis) & a mystery partner vs. Legado Del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde & Cruz Del Toro)
