Cody Rhodes has reportedly signed with WWE.

PWInsider reported tonight that Rhodes had signed with the company. Multiple sources confirmed with the site that Rhodes had signed “about 10 to 14 days ago”. Additionally, PWInsider said that plan is to have Rhodes debut at WrestleMania weekend and join the Raw roster upon arrival.

Dave Meltzer has reported that the plan for WrestleMania 38 is Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins. Rollins lost a match to Kevin Owens this past Monday on Raw, where the winner would host Steve Austin on their talk show during WrestleMania weekend. After Owens won the match, announcers suggested that Rollins had no path towards a WrestleMania 38 match.

Rhodes, along with wife Brandi, announced that they would be leaving AEW after being unable to come to terms on a new contract last month. Cody’s last match with AEW took place on January 26, where he lost the TNT Championship to Sammy Guevara in a ladder match.
