Report: WWE’s Kiana James out of action with leg injury
Kiana James is reportedly out of action.
PWInsider reported on Monday that James is out of action with a leg injury. According to the report, she is slated to be out of action for “upwards of six months.” Earlier on Monday, PWInsider also reported that James had been moved from the internal active roster to their miscellaneous section.
James has not been on Raw since June, where she lost a three-way Money in the Bank qualifying match that also involved Zelina Vega and the eventual winner IYO SKY. As part of the 2024 WWE Draft, James had been called up from NXT to the Raw roster and defeated Natalya in her main roster debut match.
Signing with the WWE in 2022, James established her name on NXT after a feud with Fallon Henley, who she also briefly held the NXT Tag Team titles with. She also feuded with Becky Lynch and Roxanne Perez during her time in NXT and had formed an association with Izzi Dame before being called up to the main roster.
