Report: Sheamus’ replacement in The Last Time Is Now tournament revealed

According to a new report, Sheamus’ replacement in The Last Time Is Now tournament has been determined.

PWInsider is reporting that The Miz will take Sheamus’ spot in the next round and will face LA Knight. The November 28 episode of SmackDown was taped on Friday night and features a backstage segment with Miz and R-Truth discussing who will replace Sheamus in the tournament.

WWE revealed on Friday afternoon that Sheamus was dealing with a shoulder injury and would not be able to continue in the tournament. He had defeated Shinsuke Nakamura in the first round.

The first round of the tournament concluded on last night’s episode of WWE SmackDown, with Carmelo Hayes advancing after a count out win over Bronson Reed and Penta defeating Finn Balor. Also having advanced to the next round are Gunther, Rusev, Jey Uso, LA Knight, and Solo Sikoa. Penta vs. Sikoa, and Gunther vs. Hayes is set for Monday’s Raw.
