Report: Three new WWE Performance Center signings

WWE has reportedly made three new big Performance Center signings.

The Stamford-based promotion has now added three new names to its developmental system and NXT. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE has signed University of Nebraska track & field star Meghan Walker to an NXT developmental contract at the Performance Center. Walker was previously signed to a Next In Line (NIL) deal but has now completely transitioned into a pro-wrestling role.

She is now also joined by Russian pole dancer and gymnast Jessica Bognadov and American football player Cyrus Habibi-Likio, who took part at the SummerSlam tryouts. Both Bognadov and Habibi-Likio are the two other developmental signings.

Interestingly, Walker was part of the same NIL class as Mark Henry’s son Jacob Henry, Scott Steiner’s son and Bron Breakker’s cousin Brock Rechsteiner, and Titus O’Neil’s son TJ Bullard.

John Cena ‘grateful’ following WWE Performance Center visit

A few weeks ago, John Cena attended the WWE Performance Center and spent time with some of the upcoming stars in the promotion. Soon after the successful visit, the veteran uploaded an inspiration status on social media and shared his gratitude.

“Thank you to everyone at the @WWE PC for allowing me to learn from our incredibly gifted future. Staying curious and open minded is a gateway for new knowledge and ideas. Any time I get to spend with the present and future of the business I love challenges the way I see it and I always leave with new perspectives. I can’t express how meaningful these visits are for me. Truly grateful.”

Cena felt impressed with the NXT talents and opened up the door for them to perform at the December 13th edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event.
