Report: Timothy Thatcher’s potential new WWE role revealed
Following a successful in-ring career, Timothy Thatcher is reportedly set to embrace a brand-new GM role.
According to a recent report by Bodyslam+, WWE is planning to introduce Thatcher in a brand new authority role in Evolve, as their general manager.
Since Stevie Turner departed last year, the GM position in Evolve has remained vacant. No longer wishing to keep it empty, the wrestling promotion has now reportedly planned to insert Thatcher in that position.
Thatcher was an active part of the WWE NXT roster from 2020 to 2022 as an in-ring talent. Before that, the 42-year-old also wrestled for Evolve from 2014 to 2019. After his NXT exit in 2022, Thatcher enjoyed a few brief stints in Pro Wrestling NOAH, AEW/ROH, and MLW before returning to WWE in 2024 as an ID trainer.
