Update on Jade Cargill after WWE SmackDown injury
An update is available on Jade Cargill.
Cargill was injured in the main event of Friday’s SmackDown in a triple threat with Tiffany Stratton and Nia Jax. She came up bleeding above her right eye after being thrown into the steps at ringside by Jax near the end of the bout.
According to PWInsider Elite, Cargill only required stitches to close the cut above her eye and it’s hopeful she will be cleared to return in just a few weeks. There are no signs she’s been pulled from WWE’s schedule.
Following the injury on Friday night, Cargill posted an image of the cut to Instagram, along with the caption, “Don’t question the love I have for this game.”
Stratton vs. Cargill vs. Jax on SmackDown was discussed on a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, with Dave Meltzer stating he thought it was the “worst WWE match of the year.” A clip of the episode is below, and is available in full for subscribers here.
