Report: WWE star suffers shoulder injury, sidelined from live tour
One of WWE’s most popular names, Michin was recently pulled from the remainder of WWE’s live Holiday Tour. According to a recent report from Fightful Select, it was noted that she sustained a shoulder injury this past week.
The reports followed the SmackDown star’s cryptic Instagram post, in which she announced that her tour was ending earlier than expected, prompting fans to speculate about the reason behind it.
“Have to cut my tour a little short but damn, was it was fun! I got to take a bite out of cake too.”
The 36-year-old was in an active feud with WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill on SmackDown, and she was also working with Cargill in the Holiday tour. While Fightful Select failed to confirm the nature of the injury, it was noted that she would be replaced for the remaining schedule.
Michin’s WWE journey began in the inaugural Mae Young Classic in 2017. After a notable performance in the 2018 tournament, she was offered an NXT contract, where she stayed from 2018 to 2020. Following this, she transitioned into a main-roster role, tagging along with AJ Styles and The O.C., as well as getting involved in several other notable rivalries, including one against Chelsea Green.
