It’s week 2 of Rey De Reyes and someone’s getting their shiny sword! That someone is Verde Americano who won the Rey de Reyes final 4-way match last week, defeating Santos Escobar, La Parka and OG Americano. Tonight, he is presented his well-earned sword from Penta and he can keep his AAA Mega Title shot in his back pocket.

Six-Person Tag Team Match: Rey Fenix, Mr. Iguana & Lola Vice vs. La Hiedra & Money Machine (Colmillo De Plata and Garra De Oro)

Last week to kick off Rey De Reyes, Fenix joined his brother Penta in the ring to tease an inevitable return of the Lucha Brothers. That had nothing to do with this match, but it was a really good segment. Vice and Iguana are the current AAA Mixed Tag Champions, but have yet to make a little belt for La Yesca, which is frankly, long overdue.

Breaking news off the top from JBL who was told by Pimpi that Vice and Iguana are actually a couple! Or thruple if you include La Yesca. More on this as it develops, or at least sheds it’s skin.

The bell rang and Fenix started off against Oro with a lockup. Oro grabbed a wristlock and twisted Fenix around. Fenix sent Oro off the ropes and nailed him with a dropkick. Iguana tagged in, but so did Hiedra, which brought in Vice who shoved her out of the ring.

Iguana stayed legal and Plata ate some of his right hands before Iguana pulled him down in an arm drag. Oro tried to help, but Igunan sent him packing before spiking Plata with an Iguanarana. But then, Oro took La Yesca and gave her to Hiedra.

That opened Iguana up for a double team from Money Machine, with Oro hitting a high crossbody. Fenix came in to help, but Money Machine hit him with a high/low. Plata tagged in and they beat up La Yesca for a minute. Iguana picked up his puppet and took them both down with tornado DDTs.

Vice tagged in and threw her talented feet at Hiedra, backing her into the corner. She handed a couple of viciousl hip-checks before Hiedra bailed out of the ring. Vice took out Oro on the outside, but that let Hiedra get the drop on her and drag her back into the ring for a cutter.

Hiedra threw a couple of hip checks of her own before dragging Vice to the center of the ring by the hair. Hiedra slapped Iguana in the corner, which gave Vice an opening to roll her up for two. They shot off the ropes and collided in the ring before crawling over to get tags to Oro and Fenix.

Fenix ran roughshod over Oro and Plata, kicking Plata and armdragging Oro simultaneously. Fenix kicked Plata out of the ring, then hoisted Oro up on the turnbuckle for an inverted Spanish Fly. Oro kicked out of the cover at two though.

Fenix didn’t slow down as Iguana caught a blind tag. Fenix hit a tornado dive on Plata on the outside while Iguana went for a cover on Oro. Hiedra broke up the count though and Fenix brought La Yesca to Iguana so he could dive on Plata on the outside.

Fenix got Oro up in a Fenix Driver and that was it. 1-2-3 and Fenix got the win for his team.

Match Result: Rey Fenix, Mr. Iguana & Lola Vice defeated La Hiedra & Money Machine

-Backstage, Chelsea Green cut a promo about how she never lost her half of the AAA Mixed Tag Titles. She demanded to be acknowldeged as the AAA Mixed Tag WOMEN’s Champion. So we will see how that shakes out.

AAA World Tag Team Championship Match: Pagano & Psycho Clown (c) vs. The War Raiders

The AAA Tag Team Championships are on the line as Pagano and Psycho Clown take on the War Raiders who won the chance to face them a few weeks ago. There has been much drama involving missing, injured and possibly murdered Clowns in AAA the last few weeks, so we’ll see if all the Clowns make it out of this.

The fight immediately began with Psycho and Ivar battling on the outisde while Pagano took out Erik in the ring. Ivar joined them and the Raiders went for a double team, but Pagano fought them both off and delivered a double knee to both, sending Ivar outside.

Erik came up swinging and went for a powerbomb. Pagano countered it into an air raid crash though and went up top. Before he could do anything, Ivar knocked him off the turnbuckle. Ivar hit a cannonball on Pagano against the steel steps and then put him back in the ring. Ivar went for a cover, but Pagano kicked out at two.

With Psycho beaten up on the outside, it was 2-on-1 for the Raiders, who tagged in and out wearing down Pagano. Psycho appeared on the corner and reached for a tag, but Erik cut him off with a knee to Pagano. Ivar tagged in and scoop slammed Pagano. Then Erik scoop slammed Ivar ONTO Pagano, but Pagano somehow kicked out at two.

Pagano managed to get a boot to Erik’s face and tagged in Psycho who kicked is way through both Ivar and Eric. He landed a code red on Ivar and dove through the ropes to take out Erik. Psycho then hit a second rope moonsault on Ivar, but only got a two count.

Psycho charged Ivar in the corner, who contered it into a sit down crush. Erik came in with a big knee and whipped Ivar into the corner onto Psycho. They both covered Psycho, but he managed to kick out to everyone’s amazement.

Psycho fought his way to the corner and tagged in Pagano who hit a spingboard dropkick on Erik. He hit a slam, but couldn’t hook the leg and Erik kicked out of the pin. They traded shots in the middle of the ring, hitting each other with everything they had.

Erik managed to get a suplex in but Pagano jumped back up and elbowed him. Pagano threw Erik, who managed to tag in Ivar on the way down. Ivar hit a spin kick and dragged Pagano into position to hit a top rope moonsault. He made the pin, but Psycho broke it up.

Psycho hoisted Ivar up for a Psycho driver, but couldn’t make the cover. Pagano tried to fire him up, but all four men got to their feet in the ring. Psycho peeled his face off (it’s a thing he does) and he and Pagano took out Erik and Ivar with powerslams and knees to the face. Psycho went up top and hit a split-legged moonsault. Pagano followed with a top rope leg drop, but Erik broke up the pin.

Psycho sent Erik out, but Erik grabbed a chair. Psycho turned, but Pagano caught him by accident with an elbow. Pagano apologized, but Psycho was pretty mad. The Raiders took advantage and dropped them from behind.

The ref tried to get control as all four brawled in the ring, but Erik shoved the ref who called for the bell, declaring the match a No Contest.

Match Result: Pagano & Psycho Clown vs. The War Raiders went to a No Contest

After the match, the Raiders grabbed chairs and Psycho and Pagano grabbed Kendo sticks. They fenced with them for a bit as security tried to get control, but all four battled up the ramp.

-The scene switched to Vikingo, Omos and Dorian backstage. Vikingo was sill really mad about losing to Dominick Mysterio last week and Dorian was talking to his mom on the phone. Afte the call ended, Vikingo confessed that he was still mad about Mini Vikingo messing up his match. Dorian said not to worry about it and that Vikingo should go challenge Penta for the WWE Intercontintental Championship at Wrestlemania!
