WWE Hammond, IN, live results: Triple threat title match

– SmackDown Women’s Champion Naomi defeated Natalya, Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, Mickie James, and Carmella (w/ James Ellsworth) in a six-pack challenge to retain her title
Naomi hit the Rearview on Natalya to get the pin. That came after Naomi had laid out Ellsworth when he tried to distract her.
– Mojo Rawley defeated Dolph Ziggler
Rawley won with a running punch in the corner. Ziggler seemed to be the crowd favorite and tried to cool the audience down by stalling.
– American Alpha defeated Breezango and Heath Slater & Rhyno in a triple threat tag match
Rhyno was easily the most over person in the match. There were “ECW” chants for him and he got a big pop when hitting a Gore. American Alpha won with their bulldog off of the top rope on Fandango.
– Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose defeated Baron Corbin to retain his title
Ambrose hit his rebound clothesline and Dirty Deeds for the victory.
– Apollo Crews & Kalisto defeated The Ascension
Crews got a hot tag after a dive from Kalisto. He hit a spin-out powerbomb on Viktor to get the pin.
– Luke Harper defeated Erick Rowan
Rowan came out with a clown face painted on his sheep mask and had a sack with balloons in it. He took the balloons ringside and popped them in front of a child. He blew up a balloon during the match as well. Harper won with a discus clothesline.
– WWE Champion Randy Orton defeated Bray Wyatt and AJ Styles in a triple threat match to retain his title
They worked a methodically paced match mostly with one guy on the outside waiting to get back in for a spot. The finish was Styles looking for the flying forearm on Wyatt, but he was knocked off the ropes and Wyatt walked into an RKO from Orton.
