Rey Mysterio reacts to son Dominik’s title loss on WWE Raw
Dominik Mysterio is no longer the WWE Intercontinental Champion.
Earlier tonight on the November 10th episode of Raw in Boston, John Cena kicked off the show before being confronted by Dominik Mysterio. Following a verbal confrontation, the two were announced to compete in an Intercontinental Championship match. In the opening match of the evening, Cena secured victory and won the title against Mysterio in a 15-minute contest. However, just moments after the match, WWE Hall of Famer and ‘Dirty Dom’s’ father, Rey Mysterio reacted to his son’s title loss on social media.
In a three-letter reaction, the 50-year-old simply wrote, “LOL”.
The online moment was then followed up by a backstage interaction between Cena and Mysterio, where the Hall of Famer congratulated Cena as the 17-time World Champion declared Dominik a ‘good kid’. The Peacemaker actor’s title win tonight was followed up by a gorilla position segment, where he met and shook hands with multiple talented WWE stars including Cody Rhodes.
Before his last few appearances and final match, Cena secured the final remaining title in his list of achievements thus enabling him to finish his career as a Grand Slam Champion.
John Cena’s final few WWE dates
With his Intercontinental Championship win tonight, Cena has just three WWE dates left. He is next set to appear at Madison Square Garden on November 17th, then at Survivor Series in San Diego later this month. Cena’s retirement match is scheduled to take place at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13th, 2025.
