Rhea Ripley discussed her relationship with the WWE audience during the Crown Jewel post-show event in Perth on Saturday.

Ripley, who turned 29 today, teamed with IYO SKY in a win over The Kabuki Warriors over the show. Speaking after the event, Ripley commented on why she believes so many fans support her.

“I’m a huge advocate for being yourself,” Ripley said.

“I had to go through a lot of struggles in my life to accept who I am as a person.”

She continued:

“I’m growing as a human, I think that’s what people understand. I think that’s why the people get behind me. And they understand that everyone is growing into the person that they are supposed to be. That’s all I want to stand for. I want everyone to feel comfortable in their own skin and accept themself.”

Ripley was interrupted by the live crowd chanting that “Asuka is a bin chicken.”

“Asuka is a bin chicken, that’s exactly what I think,” Ripley responded before explaining, “It’s like this bird that just eats trash.”
