Rhea Ripley to kick off next WWE Raw
Rhea Ripley will open the Monday, July 15 WWE Raw after making her return to the promotion on the July 8 episode.
WWE revealed during Friday’s SmackDown episode that Ripley will kick off Monday’s Raw in a follow-up to the main event segment of this week’s show.
Ripley, a former Women’s World Champion, made a surprise return in the closing scene of this week’s Raw after being out of action since April due to a shoulder injury. Ripley confronted storyline boyfriend Dominik Mysterio after he teamed with Ripley rival and current Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan in the Raw main event.
Already announced for Raw, Drew McIntyre will return to the promotion after a one-week storyline suspension for disrupting the Money in the Bank post-show. McIntyre will meet with Raw GM Adam Pearce to discuss reinstatement.
Also set for the show, World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest will go face-to-face with King of the Ring Gunther, his SummerSlam opponent.
Sheamus vs. Bronson Reed is also booked for the July 15 Raw.
