Roderick Strong praises Triple H and Shawn Michaels

Roderick Strong WWE NXT

AEW star and former NXT performer Roderick Strong recently praised Triple H and Shawn Michaels for their help during his time in WWE. Speaking on the What Happened When podcast, Strong noted how Hunter helped him from a characterisation perspective:

“He [Triple H] really helped me with understanding taking my time…when it’s necessary and when it’s not. He really helped me understand how to view things from a character interaction standpoint. and not just a ‘thing I want to do’ standpoint, because those don’t always mesh.

Strong would also reveal that both Triple H and Shawn Michaels were always open to discuss ideas whenever they were available:

“It’s been stated about him [Triple H] how hands on he is and how helpful [he is]. If you have questions and stuff, he was always open to answer anything and be available, at least for a little bit as much as he could. That was something I really liked about him, him and Shawn. They kept keep an open mind about things. [They feel no idea is a dumb idea, it just sparks other ideas.

Roderick Strong was of course part of the Undisputed Era faction in WWE NXT alongside Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish. He was removed from WWE’s official roster page in April 2023 and debuted with AEW shortly after on the April 26, 2023 episode of AEW Dynamite.
