Roman Reigns advertised for upcoming WWE SmackDown episode

Roman Reigns’ return to WWE television may be just a couple of weeks away.

On Tuesday, the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma announced that Reigns will be appearing on the Friday, October 13 episode of SmackDown. That’s the first SmackDown episode after Fastlane.

Reigns has been away from WWE TV since shortly after SummerSlam. He retained the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against his cousin Jey Uso in a Tribal Combat match at that pay-per-view.

Solo Sikoa & Jimmy Uso are facing John Cena at Fastlane on Saturday, October 7. It’s currently being promoted as a two-on-one handicap match, but it’s expected that a tag team partner for Cena will be added. LA Knight was going to be announced as Cena’s partner for Fastlane last Friday, but Knight had to miss SmackDown due to testing positive for COVID-19.

Dave Meltzer reports that Reigns’ next match will be at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, November 4. Meltzer noted that Reigns would be back on WWE TV leading into Crown Jewel.
