Roman Reigns advertised for next two WWE Raw episodes

It looks like Roman Reigns will be appearing on both remaining episodes of WWE Raw leading into SummerSlam.

After making his return to WWE programming earlier this week, Reigns is now advertised for the July 21 and July 28 editions of Raw. Those respective shows are being held in Houston and Detroit at the Toyota Center and Little Caesars Arena.

Reigns had been away from WWE TV since the fallout of WrestleMania 41, where Paul Heyman betrayed him and joined up with Seth Rollins instead. The Rollins-Heyman faction now also includes Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. Reigns’ SummerSlam plans figure to include at least one of Breakker or Reed now that Rollins is potentially facing an extended absence from the ring due to injury.

The show-closing angle of Raw this Monday was Reigns returning and saving CM Punk and Jey Uso from an attack by Breakker and Reed. In the main event of the show, Punk prevailed over Breakker in a gauntlet match to earn a World Heavyweight Championship shot against Gunther at SummerSlam.

This year’s SummerSlam is the first time the PLE has been a two-night event. It’s taking place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Saturday, August 2 and Sunday, August 3.

Reigns has booked a role in an upcoming live-action “Street Fighter” movie that begins production in Australia this August. Cody Rhodes is also reportedly set for an appearance in that film.
