Roman Reigns announced for two international WWE SmackDown episodes

Roman Reigns has been confirmed for upcoming WWE SmackDown episodes in Italy and the United Kingdom.

WWE announced today that Reigns will be appearing on SmackDown in Bologna, Italy on Friday, March 21 and London, England on Friday, March 28. The shows are happening during WWE’s pre-WrestleMania tour of Europe, which will last from March 14-31.

The Bologna show is being held at Unipol Arena, while the London date is taking place at The O2 Arena.

Reigns has been off WWE television since the Royal Rumble. To explain him not being around for Elimination Chamber, WWE did an injury angle where Reigns was stomped face-first into the steel steps by Seth Rollins at the Rumble. It was said that Reigns would be out of action for the foreseeable future.

Reigns vs. Rollins vs. CM Punk in a triple threat match is the expected plan for WrestleMania 41, though that match remains unconfirmed as of now. Both Rollins and Punk are competing in the men’s Elimination Chamber match at WWE’s Elimination Chamber PLE this Saturday.

Punk will also be appearing at these Bologna and London SmackDown episodes.

WrestleMania 41 is taking place in Las Vegas on Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20.
