Roman Reigns confirmed for upcoming WWE appearance

Roman Reigns was left laying at the end of Raw earlier this week, but it won’t be long until he makes his next WWE appearance.

It’s been confirmed that Reigns will appear on the Monday, August 18 episode of Raw in Philadelphia. The Wells Fargo Center sent out an announcement on social media today revealing the news.

Reigns & Jey Uso defeated Bronson Reed & Bron Breakker in a tag match at SummerSlam last weekend. It didn’t take long for The Vision to get their revenge, though, with Seth Rollins, Reed & Breakker demolishing Reigns, CM Punk & LA Knight at the end of Monday’s post-SummerSlam edition of Raw.

The angle led to speculation that Reigns was being written off to go film his role in the upcoming live-action “Street Fighter” movie, where he will be playing the character Akuma. But PWInsider reports that Reigns is not slated to begin filming until September. He is scheduled to be on set from September 2 through September 26.

Next Monday (August 11), WWE will be in Quebec City, Canada for Raw. Reigns is not advertised for that show.
