Roman Reigns & Jey Uso win WWE SummerSlam tag match

The OTC emerged victorious at SummerSlam, with help from his cousin.

Roman Reigns and Jey Uso got the victory at SummerSlam, defeating Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker in the opening match of Saturday’s show. The finish had Roman Reigns take the bullet for Uso, shoving him out of the way at the last second and taking a spear by Breakker. Uso recovered and superkicked Breakker out of the ring then speared Reed for the victory. Reigns and Uso shook hands after the match and celebrated in the ring.

As Heyman’s men attacked Jey Uso last month on Raw, Reigns made the save, seeking revenge after Paul Heyman’s new group took him out on the Raw following WrestleMania 41. After he took out Breakker and Bronson Reed, the duo retaliated on this past Monday’s Raw, taking out both Uso and Reigns with spears and tsunamis. After Breakker speared both into a barricade, Reed stole Reigns’ sneakers to add insult to injury.

One of Heyman’s men, Money in the Bank winner Seth Rollins, is currently out of action with a knee injury, though his status isn’t 100 percent confirmed.
