Roman Reigns: ‘Thank you to everyone who’s reached out’

In a tweet this afternoon, Roman Reigns thanked everyone who has reached out to him after he revealed his leukemia diagnosis.

Reigns wrote: “Thank you to everyone who’s reached out…I can’t put into words what it means to me. Your energy and positivity motivate me to get better quickly to get back in the ring, but for now I’m going to spend time with my family and focus on health. Thank you – Joe/Roman”

Reigns opened last night’s episode of Raw by announcing that he’s battling leukemia. He revealed that he was diagnosed with leukemia when he was 22 years old and put it into remission quickly, but unfortunately it has returned. Reigns relinquished the Universal Championship and said the best thing for him to do is focus on his family and his health. He vowed to come back once he beats leukemia again.
