Major star to open next WWE Raw

Roman Reigns is opening up this Monday’s Raw.

It was announced during Friday’s SmackDown that the OTC will open up Monday’s show in Birmingham. The move comes following the closing scenes of the previous Raw that saw Reigns make the save for his cousin all while continuing his rivalry with members of The Vision.

Jey Uso was wrestling Bron Breakker in an Extreme Rules match when the rest of The Vision came out to interfere. LA Knight, Seth Rollins, and CM Punk all came out and fought one another, causing a big scene. This eventually led to Reigns, who arrived and took out Breakker with a spear. That allowed Uso to hit a splash through the table for the win,

The last moments of Raw saw Reigns issue a challenge to Reed for Clash in Paris on August 30, which the newly-dubbed Tribal Thief accepted. Reed in recent weeks has added insult to injury by not only attacking Reigns and laying him out, but has also stolen two pairs of Reigns’ shoes in the process.

Here is the updated lineup for WWE Raw. The show will air at a special start time of 3 pm ET on Netflix:

WWE Raw, Monday, August 25 —

  • Rhea Ripley vs. Roxanne Perez
  • Penta vs. Kofi Kingston
  • Nikki Bella appears
  • Roman Reigns to open the show
