Sasha Banks: ‘The Boss is gonna be on Raw tonight’
Though it is unknown what her role will be, it looks like Sasha Banks will be appearing on Raw tonight.
Banks revealed the news in a tweet on Monday afternoon: “You shouldn’t settle for what’s expected. The Boss is gonna be on #Raw tonight and I got some bad news. #LegitBoss always.”
She didn’t specify who the bad news is for.
Banks hasn’t appeared on Raw since losing the WWE Women’s Championship to Charlotte at SummerSlam. Dave Meltzer reported that the decision to have Banks drop the title was made because of a back injury she had been dealing with, but Meltzer said she wouldn’t be out as long as was previously feared after getting news that the injury wouldn’t require surgery.
On last week’s edition of the Raw pre-show, Banks provided an update on her injury status. She claimed that the injury happened in storyline during her match at SummerSlam, and echoed Meltzer’s report that she wouldn’t need surgery. Banks vowed to regain the Women’s Championship upon her return.
