Sasha Banks returning to action, set for WWE SmackDown

For the first time since being injured at Hell in a Cell, Sasha Banks is returning to in-ring action.

WWE has announced Banks vs. Nikki Cross for tomorrow’s episode of SmackDown. The show is being taped at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England.

Banks hasn’t wrestled since her Hell in a Cell match against Becky Lynch last month.

Cross challenged for Bayley’s SmackDown Women’s Championship last Friday. Banks was at ringside and pushed Cross off the top rope at the end of the match, which led to Bayley retaining her title.

This week’s SmackDown and next Monday’s Raw are both being taped at the Manchester Arena tomorrow. For SmackDown, WWE has also announced that Roman Reigns will face Baron Corbin, The Revival will defend their SmackDown Tag Team titles against The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Big E), and Tyson Fury will make an appearance.

WWE’s European tour will begin with a house show in Brighton, England today.
