Semifinals set for WWE The Last Time Is Now tournament

First two participants advance in The Last Time Is Now tournament on WWE Raw

The semifinals in The Last Time Is Now tournament are set.

LA Knight and Jey Uso advanced on SmackDown, now setting up a semifinal match that will take place between the two this Monday on Raw. Uso was the first to advance on Friday, pinning Rusev following a splash.

The second bout was shrouded in mystery as Sheamus had to be pulled due to injury. Backstage on Friday, The Miz begged Nick Aldis to be put in the match and by a stroke of luck, his name was pulled out of the tumbler. Despite the break, Miz wasn’t able to defeat Knight, who scored the victory with the BFT.

On the other side of the bracket, Gunther is set to take on Solo Sikoa after Gunther defeated Carmelo Hayes and Sikoa defeated Penta following a referee stoppage. Sikoa also emerged victorious on Friday after emerging as the sole survivor in a traditional Survivor Series elimination match.

The winner of the tournament will face John Cena in his final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13.
