Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch to kick off WWE Raw, Kingston vs. Zayn set
WWE has announced a segment and another match for tonight’s post-Stomping Grounds episode of Raw.
Universal Champion Seth Rollins and Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch will kick off tonight’s show. WWE Champion Kofi Kingston is also set to face Sami Zayn in a non-title match.
Rollins and Lynch stood tall at the end of Stomping Grounds. Rollins retained the Universal title against Baron Corbin in the main event, with Lynch taking out special guest referee Lacey Evans after Evans slapped and low blowed Rollins. Referee John Cone then counted the pin for Rollins after he hit a Curb Stomp on Corbin.
Lynch successfully defended her Raw Women’s Championship against Evans in the opener of the Stomping Grounds main card.
Kingston retained the WWE Championship against Dolph Ziggler in their steel cage match at the pay-per-view, but Big E & Xavier Woods lost to Kevin Owens & Zayn. Owens pinned Woods to win that match.
Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett, Washington is hosting tonight’s Raw. New United States Champion Ricochet will take on AJ Styles in a non-title match, and Shane McMahon & Drew McIntyre will team against Roman Reigns in a two-on-one handicap match.
