Shane McMahon attends John Cena’s final WWE Raw appearance at MSG
John Cena’s farewell tour is bringing all the big names out of the woodwork. The latest star from the past to show up: Shane McMahon.
McMahon—whose father, grandfather, and great-grandfather laid the groundwork for the promotion now known as WWE—was not part of the show when Monday Night Raw aired from Manhattan, but he did take to social media to make his presence known, sharing a photo of himself with his son Rogan at the event on Instagram.
“So good to be back home [at Madison Square Garden] to watch [John Cena’s] final show at The Garden,” he wrote.
McMahon, a former executive and wrestler for the company, was reportedly seated near his sister Stephanie, but was not shown on camera.
Per Cagematch, McMahon has wrestled once in Madison Square Garden himself, facing Chad Gable in a best-of-three-falls King of the Ring semifinal in 2019.
McMahon’s last appearance with WWE was at WrestleMania 39 in 2023. He made a surprise appearance on that show and challenged The Miz to a match, but promptly tore his quad. Snoop Dogg took his place in the match and came away with the victory.
