Sol Ruca contract signing booked for next WWE Raw
Sol Ruca is heading to Raw.
It was announced during Monday’s show that the NXT star will officially join the red brand on next week’s Raw in Omaha, Nebraska. She officially made her main roster debut on the Raw following WrestleMania, coming close but ultimately failing to defeat Liv Morgan thanks to former tag team partner Zaria.
The two ended up wrestling in the main event on last week’s NXT, squaring off in a last woman standing match. Zaria ended up scoring the win after seemingly reuniting with her former friend, only to turn against her once again, shoving her off a perch and through two tables, with only one breaking. Despite the nasty-looking fall, Ruca was reported to be alright following the match.
At the very end of this week’s Raw, an irate Jacob Fatu attacked Roman Reigns, making it clear he wanted the next shot at the World Championship. After leaving him laying with the Tongan death grip, Reigns recovered and told Fatu he’d see him at Backlash on May 9. As he was walking up the up, Fatu told Reigns that he would see him next week.
