Starboy Charlie pulled from indie show due to ‘contractual obligations’
WWE ID wrestler Starboy Charlie has been pulled from an upcoming Big Time Wrestling show.
On July 17, 2026, Starboy Charlie was scheduled to compete against Aaron Solo for the BTW World Championship at Big Time Wrestling’s Misery Business show. The match was previously announced on May 22, 2026.
However, Big Time Wrestling recently announced on social media that due to “contractual obligations,” the 23-year-old will no longer be able to compete against Solo. Instead, he has now been replaced by AEW’s Matt Sydal, also formerly known as WWE’s Evan Bourne.
“Due to contractual obligations, Chazz “Starboy” Hall is no longer able to appear at Misery Business. Matt Sydal will now face Aaron Solo for the BTW World Championship!” the social media announcement read.
Sydal had previously defended the TNA Wrestling X-Division Championship in March 2018 at two crossover shows with BTW, retaining at both events against Eddie Edwards.
Starboy Charlie also pulled from another indie wrestling show
A few days ago, West Coast Pro Wrestling announced on social media that WWE ID had pulled Charlie from his scheduled match against Travis Williams on June 20, 2026.
Starboy Charlie currently competes in WWE EVOLVE as “Starboy” Chazz Hall, where he is the reigning WWE ID Champion.
