Stephanie McMahon comments on possibility of Women’s tag titles

Going into last night’s announcement from Stephanie McMahon, it was speculated that it would have something to do with WWE introducing Tag Team titles for the women’s division.

They weren’t mentioned during the reveal of WWE’s first all-women’s pay-per-view, but McMahon spoke to Sky Sports about her announcement and was asked if WWE would be adding Women’s Tag Team titles at the PPV.

“Not quite yet but that’s absolutely something we’ve heard loud and clear from our fan base and it’s something we’re keen on implementing as soon as we are able to,” McMahon said.

The women’s PPV will be called “Evolution” and will be held at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York on October 28. Titles from all of WWE’s brands will be on the line, the Mae Young Classic finals will take place, and WWE is hyping that over 50 wrestlers from the past and present will take part in the show.
