Stephanie McMahon shares that she suffered miscarriage at one point
On the latest episode of her “What’s Your Story?” podcast, Stephanie McMahon opened up about a difficult situation she once went through.
A new edition of “What’s Your Story?” premiered today with Natalya discussing her recently released memoir. McMahon commended Natalya for how open she is in the book, which covers the mental health struggles her father Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart faced stemming from head trauma.
McMahon shared that, at one point in her life, she suffered a miscarriage. McMahon believes there is value in sharing the difficulties you’ve faced because, at the end of the day, we’re all human and have to navigate these kinds of struggles.
“I had a miscarriage at one point, and it’s devastating,” McMahon said. “You never really know until you tell someone that you had a miscarriage — and then you find out tons of women that you know who have had miscarriages. And it’s just something we don’t share that I think if we did talk about more, it would be helpful.
“From a mental health standpoint as well, you know, it’s very hard to go through that. When you find out that people you love, relate to, look up to — that really, truly, we all have problems. We’re here to help one another, because at the end of the day all we have is each other.”
When former WWE star Carmella suffered pregnancy loss a few years ago, she said McMahon reached out to her several times and was “so supportive” through the situation.
McMahon and her husband Paul “Triple H” Levesque have three daughters together who are now 19, 17, and 15 years old.
