Streamer N3on apologized to Penta for filming him without mask
N3on, a popular live streamer, has apologized both publicly and privately for filming WWE star Penta maskless without his permission.
Over the weekend, N3on was in New York City to attend Fanatics Fest and WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. There was a moment at the Fanatics convention where N3on was filming in a backstage-type area and streamed a glimpse of Penta where he only had face paint on and not a mask. Penta quickly asked N3on not to film him. But while N3on said he would delete the footage, it was still screengrabbed by someone watching live.
N3on, while attending SNME, then addressed the situation and described it as a “misunderstanding” where he had permission to stream but Penta did not know he would be filmed in that area.
“I just wanted to apologize to him. I apologized to him off-camera. It was a clear misunderstanding,” the streamer said. “They told him that he could take the mask off in that area, and they told me I could stream in that area. And it just clashed and sh*t happened. It was never my intention. I would never do that on purpose. And I’m sorry.”
Also during Fanatics Fest, N3on made an appearance on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast. Paul filmed future episodes with N3on, UFC’s Sean O’Malley, and NFL player Puka Nacua.
N3on has more than a million subscribers on YouTube and nearly 700,000 on the streaming platform Kick.
Penta’s next Intercontinental title defense —
Penta did not compete at SNME but will be defending his Intercontinental title against Chad Gable at SummerSlam. The PLE is being held in Minnesota (Gable’s home state) on August 1-2.
Tonight’s Raw will include an appearance by Gable as the build to SummerSlam continues. He won a gauntlet match last week to earn this shot against Penta.
