Tables match announced for WWE SmackDown

A tables match has been set for this Friday’s episode of SmackDown.

Robert Roode will face Roman Reigns in a tables match. This follows what happened at the end of SmackDown last week when Reigns was spinebustered into the announcer's table by a returning Roode. The table did not break, leaving tag team partner Dolph Ziggler to finish off Reigns with an elbow that finally broke the table.

Roode, along with Primo Colon, were suspended for 30 days on December 10 for failing a Wellness Policy drug test. He was written out of SmackDown last after being laid out by Reigns.

Reigns has been feuding with King Corbin, Ziggler and Roode in recent months. He lost a match to Corbin at TLC last month after Ziggler, Roode and The Revival interfered. Reigns also had to endure having dog food being poured over him. Corbin had tried to do it again two weeks ago, but the returning Usos came out to aid their cousin.

SmackDown will take place at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex in Greensboro, North Carolina.
