Tag match, Sasha Banks appearance announced for WWE SmackDown

Update --

Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura & Rick Boogs vs. Los Lotharios (Angel & Humberto) has also been added to tonight's SmackDown.

An appearance by Sasha Banks is set for tonight's episode of SmackDown.

WWE has announced that Banks will return to SmackDown tonight after not appearing on last Friday's show. Two weeks ago, Banks was beaten down by Shotzi after Shotzi lost a non-title match against SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair.

Shotzi blamed Banks for her loss to Charlotte. After Shotzi was accidentally distracted by Banks, Charlotte got the win by hitting Natural Selection. Shotzi then turned heel by attacking Banks and beating her down.

Shotzi cut a promo last week where she said Banks' patronizing attitude was her breaking point. Shotzi said Banks is her target, and she's going to run over Banks and anyone else who gets in her way.

Banks and Shotzi will both be members of SmackDown's women's team at Survivor Series on Sunday, November 21. Banks, Shotzi, Shayna Baszler, Natalya & Aliyah will face Raw's Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, Carmella & Zelina Vega in a traditional five-on-five Survivor Series elimination tag match.

Tonight's SmackDown is being held at Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia. A non-title match between Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Xavier Woods is also set for the show.
