Tag team match announced for WWE SmackDown

The first match for Friday’s edition of SmackDown has been announced.

Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton vs. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed is now scheduled for the show. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis announced the news in a video on Tuesday, saying that he reached an agreement with Raw General Manager Adam Pearce to have Breakker and Reed on SmackDown.

Aldis said:

“Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker seem to enjoy getting involved in other people’s business as of late. And having just wrapped up a phone call with my esteemed colleague, Adam Pearce over at Monday Night Raw, we agreed that they can get involved in my business this Friday night on SmackDown.”

Rhodes will face Breakker and Reed’s stablemate in The Vision, Seth Rollins, for the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship on October 11 in Perth, Australia.

Friday’s edition of SmackDown is scheduled for the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. No other segments have been announced as of yet.
