Tag Team title match official for next WWE SmackDown
A WWE Tag Team title match is official for the Friday, May 3 SmackDown episode.
A-Town Down Under’s Austin Theory & Grayson Waller will defend their titles on next week’s SmackDown against The Street Profits. Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins of the Profits won a number one contender’s match on last week’s SmackDown to earn the title shot.
In another contest official for next week, Akam & Rezar of Authors of Pain will face New Catch Republic’s Tyler Bate & Pete Dunne in a matchup of top SmackDown teams.
Before their Undisputed WWE Championship match at Backlash, Cody Rhodes and AJ Styles will go face-to-face on next week’s SmackDown.
Randy Orton & Kevin Owens will also host The RKO Show on next week’s episode, one day before they team against The Bloodline at Backlash.
The Friday, May 3 SmackDown is the go-home show for Backlash set for Saturday, May 4.
