Tag Team title match set for Monday’s WWE Raw

A Tag Team title match has been added to the lineup for Monday’s go-home episode of Raw.

WWE announced tonight that Raw Tag Team Champions The Revival will defend their titles against Ricochet & Aleister Black on Monday’s show. Ricochet & Black defeated The Revival in non-title matches on this week’s Raw and the February 25 episode.

John Pollock of Post Wrestling reported today that the latest plans for WrestleMania 35 include a Raw Tag Team title match and a SmackDown Tag Team title match.

Ricochet & Black will challenge for War Raiders’ NXT Tag Team titles at TakeOver: New York on Friday, April 5, with them getting the title shot as a stipulation of winning this year’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

Monday’s Raw is taking place at the Capital One Arena in Washington D.C. Here’s what’s been announced for the show:

  • Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair & Becky Lynch vs. The Riott Squad (Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan) (if Rousey, Charlotte, or Lynch betray their team, they lose their spot in the WrestleMania main event)
  • Kurt Angle vs. Rey Mysterio
  • Brock Lesnar appears
  • Batista responds to Triple H
  • Raw Tag Team Champions The Revival defending against Ricochet & Aleister Black
  • Sasha Banks, Bayley, Beth Phoenix & Natalya vs. Nia Jax, Tamina, Peyton Royce & Billie Kay
