Tag Team title rematch set for WWE SmackDown
One week after dropping the belts, Grayson Waller & Austin Theory are getting their WWE Tag Team title rematch.
Newly crowned WWE Tag Team Champions DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa) will defend their titles against Waller & Theory on SmackDown tonight. The show is taking place from the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts.
In Toronto last Friday, Gargano & Ciampa defeated Waller & Theory to begin their first main roster title reign. DIY were previously tag team champions in NXT. Last week’s match was full of callbacks to when they won the NXT Tag Team titles from The Revival in the same arena at TakeOver: Toronto 2019. The finishes were nearly identical with DIY getting a simultaneous submission victory.
