Three new participants added to WWE men’s Royal Rumble match

With Shinsuke Nakamura being cleared to return to the ring, he’s been added to the list of participants for the 2022 men’s Royal Rumble match.

WWE announced tonight that Nakamura and Rick Boogs will both be competing in the men’s Royal Rumble match this Saturday. Ricochet is also now included on WWE’s list of entrants.

There are now only five spots left open in the men’s Rumble match.

Nakamura revealed on his Instagram Stories today that he’s been cleared to return from injury. He had been out of action since December 18 due to a hand injury.

Nakamura is the current Intercontinental Champion. Sami Zayn is the number one contender to his title, but when that match will be happening has yet to be announced. Zayn will also be one of the entrants in the men’s Rumble match.
