Tiffany Stratton says she might try to “re-pitch” old gimmick for SmackDown

Tiffany Stratton WWE SmackDown

WWE Women’s United States Champion Tiffany Stratton recently discussed her old “daddy’s little rich girl” gimmick, saying that she would like to try and re-pitch doing it now that she is on the main roster.

Stratton’s original character had a “daddy’s little rich girl” styling to it, with vignettes airing before she debuted in-ring looking like she was going to be pushed in that direction. When she debuted it appeared as though that had been toned down a lot, and she revealed why that direction was nixed.

Tiffany Stratton gimmick change

Speaking to Maxx Fuller of KFAN, Stratton revealed that it was Shawn Michaels who didn’t want to run with the gimmick initially:

“Honestly, I may re-pitch the daddy’s little rich girl stuff. I think the reason why HBK didn’t wanna go with it, I think, was because they just didn’t have a daddy for me. There was never a payoff so, maybe I can have a daddy now on SmackDown, and they can do a payoff…”

There’s currently no indication who the “daddy” could potentially be on SmackDown.
