Tiffany Stratton praises ‘drama-free’ WWE women’s locker room

Tiffany Stratton WWE Women's US title

The backstage environment Tiffany Stratton has experienced in WWE is a lot more supportive than the stories she’s heard about past eras.

With Stratton being a Minnesota native, she’s been doing a lot of media to promote WWE’s August 1-2 SummerSlam PLE in Minneapolis. She appeared on KFAN Radio and praised the women’s locker room, specifically naming Nia Jax and Nattie as two veterans who are very helpful.

“Yeah, I would say a lot of the girls are always kind of trying to navigate things,” Stratton responded when asked if she’s taken on a mentorship role to the new talent that’s coming in. “It is such a tough business, but we have a couple girls in the locker room, like Nia Jax, Natalya that people kind of go to and ask questions. They’re so amazing. And we have such a good locker room. I feel like there’s — it’s pretty much drama-free.

“I feel like it used to be a lot cattier back in the day, but, you know, naturally with more TV time — and it’s a lot less cutthroat. The girls have kind of just bonded and we’re all kind of just in a good place in our careers. So, yeah, everyone’s great in the locker room.”

Stratton competes on SmackDown and is the current Women’s United States Champion. She’ll likely be defending the title at SummerSlam but does not have a match officially announced yet.

Tiffany Stratton on her WWE creative input —

During the KFAN interview, Stratton addressed how much input she has in her week-to-week WWE direction.

“I would say it’s pretty collaborative,” she said. “You can always pitch ideas. It’s just sometimes, they don’t always go with your ideas. However, there’s been a couple of things that they have gone with that I’ve pitched, which is really cool. So as I kind of get more familiar with wrestling and I develop more credibility and stuff like that, I’ve just been pitching more ideas and they’ve kind of been going with it.”
