Triple threat NXT North American title match announced for next week

Roderick Strong has two new challengers for next week's episode of NXT.

Strong will defend his NXT North American Championship against Keith Lee and Dominik Dijakovic in a triple threat match next Wednesday (October 23). Strong defending his title against Velveteen Dream had originally been announced for the episode.

Lee and Dijakovic faced off on tonight's NXT, but Strong interfered and caused the match to end in a no contest.

Lee vs. Dijakovic was made a North American title number one contender's match following an angle that took place earlier on the episode. After Tommaso Ciampa defeated Angel Garza, Undisputed Era came out and surrounded the ring. They gave a USB drive to Mauro Ranallo. When it was played, it was revealed that Undisputed Era had laid out Velveteen Dream backstage.

Strong defeated Velveteen Dream to win the North American title on NXT's USA Network premiere last month.

Tonight's Lee vs. Dijakovic match was the fourth time they've faced each other on NXT television. Lee and Dijakovic each have one victory in their series, and the other match ended in a double countout.
