Two more teams set for WWE Mixed Match Challenge

WWE has confirmed two more teams for the Mixed Match Challenge tournament.

It was first announced today that Sasha Banks would be teaming with Finn Balor, with Kurt Angle referring to them as a "dream team." It was then revealed that Lana and Rusev, who have been kept apart on SmackDown despite being a real-life married couple, would be paired together.

Naomi and Jimmy Uso, who are also married, will be in the tournament but it hasn't been confirmed if they'll be a team.

Banks & Balor and Lana & Rusev join Alexa Bliss & Braun Strowman and Charlotte Flair & Bobby Roode as the first four teams to be announced for Mixed Match Challenge, which is a 12-episode series that will debut on Facebook Watch at 10 p.m. Eastern time after SmackDown on January 16th. It will feature wrestlers from both Raw and SmackDown in a single-elimination mixed tag team tournament, with each episode scheduled to be 20 minutes long.
