Two-out-of-three falls tag team match set for WWE Raw

A two-out-of-three falls tag team match has been made official for Monday’s episode of Raw.

WWE has announced that The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) and The Viking Raiders (Ivar & Erik) will clash in a two-out-of-three falls match on Raw this Monday night. The teams have a 1-1 record against each other in recent weeks.

New Day defeated The Viking Raiders on the August 7 episode of Raw. Ivar & Erik then evened things up with a win three weeks later. In the latter match, New Day lost after Drew McIntyre accidentally hit Woods with a chair.

McIntyre defeated Woods in a singles match on Raw last Monday.

McIntyre is facing Jey Uso on this Monday’s Raw. McIntyre’s tag team partner Matt Riddle is expected to be back for the show. It’s taking place at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Here’s the updated card:

  • Drew McIntyre vs. Jey Uso
  • Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Ricochet
  • Cody Rhodes vs. Dominik Mysterio
  • Two-out-of-three falls match: The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) vs. The Viking Raiders (Ivar & Erik)
