Universal title fatal four-way set for WWE SummerSlam

Brock Lesnar will officially be defending his Universal Championship in a fatal four-way match at SummerSlam.

After Braun Strowman interfered and left last week’s number one contender’s main event without a winner, Kurt Angle announced on tonight’s episode of Raw that Strowman, Samoa Joe, and Roman Reigns would all be challenging for Lesnar’s title at the pay-per-view.

Angle opened the show and went to reveal Lesnar’s SummerSlam opponent before being interrupted by Strowman. All three made their case to Angle, with him making the fatal four-way match official. The segment then broke down into a brawl as the locker room came out to stop it, but Strowman ended up laying out Reigns to stand tall.

Lesnar vs. Strowman vs. Joe vs. Reigns is the second match officially confirmed for SummerSlam. Naomi will also be defending her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Natalya at the show, which takes place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on August 20th.
